Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist - Children, Young People and Adults
Chelsie is an experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist. She offers a thoughtful and supportive space where confidentiality and safety are central, providing a containing and reflective environment.
She is deeply passionate about psychodynamic work and focuses on uncovering unconscious feelings and emotions—past and present—that influence people’s everyday lives and experiences. Chelsie values supporting individuals on their own unique journeys, working at each person’s pace of exploration and placing the client at the heart of her work.
She has experience supporting individuals through a diverse range of life experiences, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, neurodiversity (specifically ADHD and autism), trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, self-harm, attachment issues, relational difficulties, and identity-related concerns.
Chelsie offers both short- and long-term counselling to children, young people, and adults, with session length agreed upon through discussion. She also provides an initial meeting with parents or carers of young people under 16 years old to explore what support will be most effective for the young person.
Chelsie is dedicated to ethical practice and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She holds an MA in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Essex.
