Integrative Counsellor

I’m Lee, an integrative counsellor offering a warm, respectful, and confidential space for adults. I see counselling as a shared journey, not one where I lead, but one where I walk alongside you.Together, we create space to pause, reflect, and make sense of where you are and where you would like to move toward.

Alongside my counselling training, I bring a background in health and social care, including experience within bereavement and palliative settings, learning disability services, and mental health support. Working closely with people during times of vulnerability and change has shaped my understanding of resilience, identity, and the often unspoken struggles people carry. I work with a wide range of adults and welcome all experiences. Clients often come with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or significant life transitions. I am particularly aware of how difficult it can be for some people, especially those who have felt pressure to appear strong or self-reliant to speak openly about what they are carrying. My aim is to offer a space where honesty feels possible and vulnerability is met with understanding.

Creativity forms a natural part of the work. This might involve exploring patterns through metaphor, gently reframing long-held narratives, or finding new perspectives when words feel hard to access. Counselling is not about being fixed; it is about understanding your story more fully and finding a direction that feels meaningful to you. My approach is integrative and grounded in person-centred values of empathy, authenticity, and trust. We work at your pace, with care and curiosity, supporting you to move forward in a way that feels steady and true.
